Gibson Les Paul Studio

 Up for auction is my barely used 2003 Gibson Les Paul Studio (USA) w/Gold Hardware and Gibson Case. This guitar was bought brand new in 2003 from Musicians Friend and I have been the only owner. I have customized this guitar by shaving the neck and getting rid of all the paint and finish down to the wood. This gives the neck a slimmer feel and alows for faster action. Your hand will not "stick" while sliding up and down the neck. This guitar has been played moderately and never "gig'd" with. In fact, it has never been played outside of my home. It has minor wear and tare in all the normal places. The only real blemishes are on the bottom of the guitar where it rested on a guitar stand. I didn't realize the stand was making marks in the finish, but once I did, i switched to a wall mounted style hanger and had no issues after that. The pick guard has been removed, (right when I got it) but I do have it and it will ship with the item. The guitar has been serviced (bridge/neck adjusted) regularly by the guitar tech at my local music store. The pickups currently installed in this model are the Gold Gibson 490R Alnico magnet humbucker in the neck position and the Gibson 498T Alnico magnet humbucker in the bridge position. It also has a new set of DR .013-.052 strings installed. This guitar plays and sounds great and is everything you would expect from a Les Paul. This is a very nice guitar that I have always enjoyed, but I just don't play it enough to keep it around. So thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions about anything that I may have missed.
