fact that they are very limited edition. They came in five colors. The
first two colors to sell out completely were the Goldtop, then the
Honeyburst, then the Cherry Sunburst, then from what I've seen a few
places are still taking orders for either the white or the ebony.  This
one is the honeyburst and there are no more available. Try and order
one and you'll see what I'm talking about. This one is the most desirable of the lot - the 50s Goldtop. I purchased two of these, one from Sam Ash and one from MF.

It's in brand new condition.
The box was opened to inspect the guitar, verified,
photographed, tuned to pitch and played for about 15 minutes and then boxed back
up. It is setup perfectly. Plays like a dream and has that fantastic Les Paul P-90 tone! It comes with all paperwork (warranty card, inspection card, etc.)
intact along with the Gibson gigbag and the original shipping
container.

Body and Finish
A solid, carved maple top and
chambered mahogany body give the Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute the same
tonewood combination that has been helping Les Pauls rock for nearly 50
years. Five authentic 50s-style finishes--Worn Gold Top, Worn Honey
Burst, Worn Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Worn Ebony or Worn White--present
a guitar with the look of a gently aged original, while the
instrument's unbound body and neck keep it in line with the popular Les
Paul Studio line. The plastics have been "distressed", meaning they
have been giving a worn look.

Neck and Headstock
The
Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute is crafted with a solid quarter-sawn
mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a headstock set at the
traditional 17-degree angle for superior transference of vibrational
energy--all ingredients of the classic Les Paul Standard of the 1950s.

Pickups and Electronics
To
give it the vintage look and meaty, raw sound of an original 50s Les
Paul, the Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute carries two Gibson USA P-90
pickups, which are wired through the traditional four-knob Les Paul
control array, with a three-way Switchcraft toggle selector and quality
Orange Drop tone capacitors on the tone pots.

Hardware
Designed
to offer the rock solid dependability that today's musicians demand,
while reflecting the look of classic hardware from the mid 50s, the Les
Paul Studio 50s Tribute's Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbard
tailpiece, and Kluson-style tuners present a best-of-both-worlds
hardware package.
