Gibson Les Paul Studio

Here is a lightly used 2004 Gibson Les Paul Studio Vintage Mahogany -- Worn Cherry with Satin Finish (also called Les Paul Vintage Mahogany or Les Paul Studio Worn Finish Series).   Comes with a new Gibson Deluxe padded gig bag,  paperwork with matching serial number, small Gibson Booklet, and small tool (I will add a pics of the booklet and tool later today).

It has a slight shine -  before making the worn finish series guitars, Gibson made guitars with a Satin Finish (not gloss / not worn).  It is all original - it is not too light  / not too heavy (a little over 8 pounds  --  about 8 pounds 5 ounces).  

It has been preowned / and used a little bit -so it has some wear.  But it's conditon is still generally fine - most areas are clean.  I took many pics of the blemished  areas (which I was not able to include in the listing - feel free to ask for more pics - just send me a message and include your email address). 

The front is almost very clean:  there is a light hairline scratch under the neck pup (left side). There is a light scratch near the pickup selector switch.  There are abut two pen point impressions in a few areas.  And there is an area on the lower left area of the front the body (a few inches under / to the left of the stop bar) were there are impressions (about 1 and 1/2 inches long and a little less than 1/4 inch wide).

There are a few line like impressions (kind of like scratches and a few small impresions near the jack area).  There are a few small impressions on some of the edges  (mostly on the lower side edges and on the bottom edges).

The very center area of the back of the body has buckle rash - not extremely deep   -- about 2 inches all around (like a circle - NOT Literally a circle).  The other areas of the back of the body are fine.

Some impressions / scratches / wear do not show up soo good on the pics.  Again I have more pics (available that I can email you) that can show who the guiatrs condition / what words cannot exactly express.

Strings look very clean (probably new).  Most of the frets are fine  - but the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th frets have VERY Light Wear (light flattening) and a surface  grooves under the GB areas and hardly noticeable wear under the High E area (just an honest observation).

The fretboard is fine (but it has a small bit of residue around the frets) - you can use an old toothbrush and lemon oil to clean it off (since the stings are new  -- I do not want ot go through the process of cleaning around the frets) - it is not a big deal - just an observation (you might not even notice it).

The electronics, the hardware are fine and  the front, back, and edges of the headstock are fine.  Overall the bak of the neck is fine, but it has a few light small dash-like impressions. The pickguard and back plates have light surface scratches.

The gig bag is a new Gibson Deluxe bag - very padded.

NOTE: This model guitar (LP Studio Vintage Mahogany) is slowing being phased out by Gibson and they are making a different version (the LP Faded Studio with a different top and different pups).  Many people prefer the Mahongany Top and Mahogany Back and Sides - as well as the Alnico V BurstBucker Pro pickups.

NOTE:  If you prefer a HS case  instead of the gig bag (or in addition to the gig bag) - I have a new Gibson HS Case (Black - with combo lock) available for sale ($130 USD).  Or if you substitute the gig bag for the case - then the case will cost $100 USD.  If you are interested - please let me know.  Also, if the case is purchased, it will be shipped with the guitar - and therefore it will affect (increase) the s/p cost **     Or if you'd like a used (but in very good condition) non-Gibon HS Case (a TKL case) I can sell for $105 USD  in addition to bag /  $75 USD  substituted for bag.  If this is the situation - please contact me to discuss this further.
