Up for auction is my stock 2000 (July) Gibson Les Paul Studio with brown Gibson hardshell case. The is a beautiful guitar in very good condition. It does have some very very light pick scratches above the low E string hardly worth mentioning. Also, there is an area with a few slight indentations/small scratches (none of which penetrate the clear finish) on the back of the guitar from where the guitar has rubbed against my belt. The term "buckle rash" seems a little harsh to describe the marks on the back of the guitar since they are relatively minor. In fact there is only one spot on the guitar in which the finish is chipped off to the bare wood and it is a tiny little chip along the edge of where the control plate mounts (see pictures). The only issue I have experienced with the electronics is with the pick-up selector switch having to be flipped back and forth from time to time when the rhythm position is desired although it has not been an issue lately. Cosmetically the guitar is in really nice shape with just a few minor flaws and the chrome hardware looks like new. The frets are in great condition and the neck is straight. The case is structurally sound but has several scrapes and tears from being taken from venue to venue. The case is no reflection of the condition of the guitar as the entire time I have owned the guitar it has been a back up to my back up guitar, thus has very little playing time and consequently very little abuse. Please email me with any other questions or if you would like any specific photos and I will try my best to respond accordingly. I have disclosed all known issues with the guitar as to make any potential buyer aware of exactly what he or she should expect of the condition of this guitar.
