He played guitar with both Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters and his musical shadow continues to shape the destiny of guitar slingers everywhere.

This Gibson Les Paul Studio guitar was signed by Hubert Sumlin on May 7, 2006 in Memphis, TN just prior to him manning the stage of the Memphis in May festival and delivering a blistering performance. Certificate of authenticity from Memphis in May International Festival, Inc., as shown in the below image, will be provided with the instrument.

The museum quality, lighted, solid oak display case is NOT included in this auction however it is for sale. Contact seller for details.

Original Gibson cardboard shipping box is not included. Item will be VERY carefully packaged for shipping. Due to the rare, irreplaceable nature of this item, once we ship to the buyer, it cannot be returned. We normally accept returns on the newly manufactured, replaceable merchandise that we sell (Fender Guitars...etc), but for this specific item, we are not accepting returns (even though it says so in the Shipping and Payments section of this auction).
