For auction is a 1987 Gibson ES-335 Studio with original hardshell case. This is original all stock from Gibson and it has some awesome Dirty Fingers pick ups. They are a bit hotter but I love them. Really smoking leads with crisp articulate tone and chords blend perfectly balance wise. I have the pick ups pretty low so the next owner could raise them a bit to beef up the tone. I just like them low on models like this because it makes the mids and highs more prominent. The neck is super comfortable, just got done testing it out and moving around the neck seems a bit easier than some of the other ES models. Fret board is nicely conditioned and frets have some basic wear for a 23 year old guitar but have plenty of life left. The back has the normal scratches but should buff out nicely. Tuning machines are very smooth and they are the Gibson Deluxe machines. Over all I would give it a solid 8 out of 10 primarily because underneath some of the tuners on the front of the headstock you can see some small paint chips. Again that seems to be the only significant wear. The binding is a rich cream color now and it has the MOP dot inlays. It's been a pleasure playing this guitar, just a really unique and somewhat rare model since it does not have the F-holes. It just has amazing richness and the sustain quite honestly the best I have heard. Ready to play out of the box wit ha clean bill of health!
