Gibson Les Paul Studio

How much more black could it be?! There was a brief period when Gibson changed their serial numbering in the 90's- this guitar is serial number 92XX8373, so my intital guess it that it is a 1998, though maybe it's a 1992. Overall it's in excellent shape, light players wear, some dings, nothing bad and better than most. I don't know if all the black hardware is factory or the previous owner swapped it out- the machines are Grovers, which fit the original footpring, but I haven't had the bridge or tailpiece off to check. Is what it is, which is a great looking USA made Les Paul with virtually no fret wear and 2 killer sounding EMG pickups, I'd say an 85/81 (gold/silver logos) and straplock buttons.Nom issues, no breaks or repairs, just an awesome guitar ready to rock. It came with a gig bag, and goes to you with the same generic bag, but we do have some odd hard cases we'd price pretty good if you need one. Thanks for looking!

Shipping is by UPS. If you are an international bidder, shipping is around 125.00. Unfortunately there are countries that have a size restriction, and I can't help that, sorry.

#2 I've been kind of digging the fact I don't have a home computer since my laptop died. It's nice to not have to be productive 24/7. We are open 10-7 M-F, 10-2 on Saturday EST, and after these hours it's a pretty safe bet it will be the next day before I read or return an email, so if it's urgent, well, I am sorry, but may be the next day before I get your email and can reply. #3 We don't gouge on shipping. All the negative feedback we've received since 1998 (only 2 actually) have been shipping related, due to the USPS losing the package. As such we will not ship the cheapest way, but will use a way that we can have insured. I'd love to send it first class for 3.00, but everytime something happens the person who swore by all that was Holy that they would be 100% responsible and was willing to take the chance gets angry and ugly about the situation. So no uninsured packages. If you feel shipping is unreasonable, call me or email me. I try to be fair, and we don't make money off shipping.

#4  We do have this item for sale in our shop, and if we sell it locally we will end the auction.

#5 Picking it up locally is always good. We hate boxing. Might even buy you lunch if it was something big we didn’t want to box.

#6 We like to see payment in a reasonable amount of time. Ebay is not the end all be all for us, and we all get busy (we being you and me), but I’d appreciate knowing what’s going on, and we like to see payment ASAP. We get more irritated with no communication then we do with being told you’re running late, so let us know.

    There is a possibility I may be gone, either buying guitars, at a guitar show,  gigging, etc, when the auction ends- if you don’t hear from us immediately, don’t worry, we’ll contact you the next day. OK, we pretend everyone who won the auction is going to pay us. We’re pretty positive that way. The fact is, some don’t. If say 3 days pass, and we have not received payment, we will start our non paying bidder procedure. That doesn’t mean we gave up on you, it just means we’re not going to keep waiting and wait too long to get any type of refund. No offense is intended, we’ve just trusted too many folks with good feedback, and gotten stuck.
