Gibson Les Paul Studio

selling an 86 Nashville made studio, as per serial number coding ... guitar is in great shape.  it doesn't look new or like it's never been touched (obviously) ... but there are no cosmetic "uh-oh's" on this one ... just looks the way you'd expect a well-cared for 24 yr old guitar should look.

action is perfect, set neck is dead on, intonation is perfect. strings are old.  in case the pics are deceptive, color is that creamy yellowed off-white hue.  pickups are stamped underneath with the standard Gibson "pat no. 2,737,842" ... the pickup covers are nickel, and the fretboard is ebony . i am primarily a fender player, and am listing this for a friend, but after playing this for a while, i can say this guitar feels and sounds dynamite (except for needing some new strings!). 
i tried several times to capture the serial # in the pics, and all i got was glare... serial number reads 82766500.

note by way of info: original owner had the original pickup selector switch replaced with a slightly lower profile one (not sure why) but original, undamaged switch is also included. guitar comes in vintage purple plush gibson hard shell case.   no reserve auction.
