Up for bid is a BRAND NEW IN BOX GIBSON LES PAUL STUDIO 50S TRIBUTE GOLDTOP "Limited Run". I ordered this guitar from Guitar Center and if you look closely, you'll see the "Special Order" stickers on the top of the original Gibson shipping  box. I purchased this guitar with full intention of resale and have preserved its integrity completely. The guitar was gently removed from the box only to take pictures and then returned to the box, ready to ship. It has only been handled and plugged in to make sure it was perfect in every way: Most important---it sounds killer. The P-90's just scream with a rich, clear tone. I'm going to guess that the weight is between 7.0 and 7.5 pounds. It has medium-low action with perfect frets, a comfortable straight neck and it stays in tune. The electronics are in perfect working order and the finish on this one is among the nicest I've seen for this model. Although the finish is supposed to be a "faded factory worn" top, this particular Guitar has a beautiful, even metallic sheen to the top that's just gorgeous. It also has lightly "factory worn" pickguard and pickups, beautiful grain on the back and a see-through lower back electronics cover that gives it a very cool vibe. It's really a superior instrument for the price. This guitar is Sold Out and is no longer being manufactured. The GoldTop has been the most desirable of Gibson's limited edition run. This guitar ships inside its padded gig back in the original Gibson shipping box, exactly how it was received by me. It comes with its original Gibson gig bag, manufacturer's warranty card, build sheet, and manual.
