Up for bid is a used Gibson Les Paul Studio electric guitar in a brilliant red finish with chrome hardware. All original-no mods, Serial number 02020496 which puts this at production #196, Nashville plant, July 21, 2000. Includes original Gibson hard shell case.
I am the second owner of this fine instrument and it is in exceptionally nice shape. This is a serious player with a nice set up and …oh……sustain for days! Neck is straight and the action is fast. Grover’s hold tune really well. Back side has a number of light scratches and “pings” but nothing broken through the finish. Front side is near pristine with a couple of “pings” and a bit of scratching on the pick guard and a bit above it, but once again, nothing through the finish.
Overall I would rate it a 9.0 out of 10.
HSC is a bit beat up on the outside, but all the hinges and locks work just fine….inside is nice and clean and includes the original shroud. Case is a 6.5 out of 10.
