This is a sweet guitar at a sweet price. This guitar is in excellent condition with minor wear and tear for its age. It plays great and sounds great. The action can be set very low without string buzz if the truss rod is adjusted properly. The professionally custom-installed Seymour Duncan pickups give the guitar a full-bodied unique yet authentic Les Paul tone. The H-1 in the bridge position provides lots of clean even-toned power with a nice warm yet bright attack. It sounds beautiful in a clean setting, and can be wonderfully crunchy in a distorted environment. The crunch is tight and focused which is very desireable. The H-11 is in the neck position. This pickup is "buttery smooth" and rich with harmonic content. It provides a wonderful ambient tone in clean settings and when distorted for leads it provides a smooth "compressed" sound that really smokes. The notes just click-off as you play them. These replacement pickups really beef-up the tone on this Les paul and give it character. The inside wiring cavity has been shielded and rewired for the Seymour Duncan pickups. The wiring is overall better than the original Epiphone wiring. The finish is a nice bright Alpine white. This is a basic guitar but very versatile and effective. The volume and tone knobs are black Gibson speed-knobs. Notice wear & tear on photos. Only a couple scuffs, nothing too troublesome. The back of the neck and back of guitar body have some discoloration from exposure to the sun. If you look at it with the guitar backwards then you can notice it but when playing the guitar no one ever notices and it did not bother me at all. I really hate to sell this guitar but I have debts to pay.
