These are limited runs and are no longer being manufactured and are collectors editions. They were made to look and feel like a vintage Gibson from the 1950's.Unlike the 60's versions the 50's have orange drop caps and pointer knobs on the volume and tone knobs.

Gold Top finish was part of a limited run released by Gibson in 2010 to pay tribute to the original rock and roll tone machines of the 1950s. Features a carved maple top, chambered mahogany body, solid quarter-sawn mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 24-3/4" scale length, 12" fretboard radius, '50s style neck profile, two P-90 distressed pickups, stopbar tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge and chrome hardware. The P-90 pickups on this guitar crank out some great tones. Has a great worn nitrocellulose lacquer finish to appear like an aged guitar from the 50's.

This guitar is in great condition. To the ultra picky there are some very light nicks and scratches but they were to hard to photograph.

This is Truly an Amazing Guitar for the Price and one of my All Time Favorite Guitars that ever came out of the Gibson Factory.
