Hello, and thanks for looking at my listing. You are looking at a 1995 Gibson USA Les Paul Studio. The guitar is the Alpine White finish and features an ebony fretboard, which is very uncommon on Les Paul models. The Alpine White is the only Studio finish that features this upgrade. Please check the pictures for condition. This guitar has been played and enjoyed for 16 years and it shows. It has a lot of character, but nothing that affects the playability or tone of the instrument. It has a few paint gouges as shown in the pictures. The headstock has some abrasions, but this does not affect tuning or stability. It also has some finish browning on the back near the neck joint--most likely from someone using the wrong type of guitar stand. This guitar is built like a tank. There are some modifications that were made by a previous owner. These include installing Grover tuners for improved tuning smoothness. The finish has also been removed from the back of the neck similar to what Zakk Wylde does on his Pauls. I really like this on Studios, because one of the few complaints I have heard about the Studio model is the finish becoming sticky on the back of the neck. I have another Studio that has this problem, but I don't have the guts to remove the finish. This one was done very well. The guitar has Gibson humbuckers in it. Gibson does not put model numbers on pickups, but I have to assume they are 498t and 490r. The pickups sound incredible in this guitar. They have that legendary Gibson girth and growl, but they also sound great for metal with the right amp and pedal. This guitar has the thick neck, which adds so much to the tone. Pinch harmonics scream on this axe. The frets are in great shape. Very easy to fret anywhere on the neck. I've never noticed any buzzing, and I play all over the neck. The guitar comes with a brown Gibson Les Paul case. The latch on the lock is missing, but the other four latches are present and work great. The case has typical wear to the leather looking exterior, but the interior is clean and it fits the guitar like a glove. It also features the "luggage handle." Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. I do my best to describe items I sell as well as possible. I have been burned in the past and do not want to do that to anyone. As I am not a store, I must sell AS IS. This is a great guitar that I wish I could keep, but with Christmas coming fast I am forced to sacrifice. Don't miss your chance to get a great sounding and playing USA made Gibson Les Paul for the price of an Epiphone model. I will ship via UPS Ground only and only to the contiguous 48 states. I will ship within one day of receiving payment (and often the same day if payment is received in time). I accept PayPal only for payment. Shipping will be a flat rate of $50. This is a heavy guitar. Thanks for looking and do not let this amazing instrument get away. Good luck and happy bidding.
